Welcome to ZenScrolling
A calmer way to read social feeds
ZenScrolling is a small experiment in mindful browsing and calm social media use.
Most social platforms are designed around infinite scrolling. Endless feeds, constant updates, and subtle algorithmic triggers make it easy to keep scrolling - and hard to stop.
Many people describe this experience as exhausting, distracting, or oddly empty. ZenScrolling exists as an alternative to infinite scroll.
Here, you can read Reddit without algorithmic recommendations, without endless loading, and without pressure to keep up with everything that appears in your feed. Support for X (Twitter) is planned.
You choose which subreddits or topics to follow. You can set a session length. You can filter posts by mood if you want. Most importantly, the feed has a clear end - so you always know when your reading session is over.
There are no streaks, no goals, and no engagement optimization. ZenScrolling is not about productivity or self-improvement. It's simply a calmer way to read social content and reduce the feeling of social media overload.
Read a little. Pause. Step away when you want.
That's the whole idea.
